The first project Teens4Peace has undertaken is to call for an immediate end to the atrocities in Darfur, Sudan, perpetrated  by the government of Sudan through its proxy militia, the Janjaweed. We, as teens, will not sit by idly and watch the senseless brutality and genocide of some of the world’s poorest human beings. Our rally of April 22, 2005 was a huge success because of your help but we must now follow through and continue to build upon the work we have done. This rally was a mobilization of American teens and we demonstrated that we are a caring and politically involved generation determined to

participate in making the world both safer and fairer.  In order to carry forward, contributions are necessary.  As we grow so too does our budget.

As Archbishop Tutu wrote to us, "... I support your efforts and am thrilled that teens can be so caring and concerned. Youth are always God's best collaborators. Go for it!"
